About The RetroFits
The RetroFits is a Southern California band that brings a new edge to many of your favorite songs from the 60's, 70's, 80's, and 90's! Our music includes classic rock, blues, country rock, and more. The group came together through chance meeting, and we've found that our tastes in music and collaborative approach are very synergistic. We've "been there and done that," and get a thrill out of sharing our music with you.
Our extensive play list includes the sounds of famous bands including the Eagles, the Beatles, Creedence, Loggins and Messina, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Led Zeppelin and many others. We play at local concerts, restaurants, and private events throughout Orange County and surrounding areas.

Who We Are

jeff GRIDER - drums and LEAD vocals
Growing up as a Southern California native, I was exposed to the incredible sounds of the Doors, Led Zeppelin, the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, and so many other music artists. Later, as a teen in New York, I became a fan of numerous other rock bands such as Queen, Yes, ELP, and Jethro Tull. When I was 15, I was excited to get a set of clear Ludwig drums. Throughout my teens, I sang lead and played the drums for local rock bands. I'm excited about being a part of the RetroFits, and look forward to performing for you.

carmen PACELLA - basSES
I was born and raised in Pittsburgh PA, and was heavily influenced by R&B, Southern Rock, and jazz. I am self-taught in music theory, playing various guitars and basses. I also enjoy designing and building various styles of guitars and basses. Over the years, I have played bass in several rock, blues, and jazz bands both on the East Coast and the West Coast. Music is a vital part of my life and I enjoy bringing it to yours.

BILL MOFFATT - GUITAR and vocals
As a youth in San Antonio, TX, it was impossible not to be influenced by Waylon, Willie and George Strait. I got my first guitar at 12, my first paying gig at 13, and never stopped playing. I saw one of the first Eagles concerts in 1971 and became an instant fan of this new style of music. I later played acoustic guitar and sang in Austin to the tunes of James Taylor and other music greats. Two of my favorite guitars have been my Fender Telecaster with Bixby vibrato, and a Gibson 335. It is a blessing to still be playing a variety of classic rock.

craig spradley - keyboard and vocals
I climbed up on the piano seat in my childhood home before I could walk, and picked out the theme to The Mickey Mouse Club by ear. I remember being 5 or 6 years old, sitting in the backseat of my parents' car when Elvis' "You Ain't Nothing But a Hound Dog" came on the radio, and suddenly the world was alive. I took piano lessons, which I hated, sat transfixed watching The Beatles on Ed Sullivan, and got my first guitar at age 13 like a million other moptop hopefuls. In addition to the keyboard, I also enjoy plucking the banjo, and am having a go at the pedal steel guitar.
